Volunteer Policy

At Beautiful Homeschoolers, we rely on the time, energy, and creativity of our community to bring programs and events to life. This policy outlines our expectations and practices regarding volunteer participation.

Who Can Volunteer
  • Parents, guardians, or adult members of the community

  • Responsible teens with adult supervision and prior approval

  • Community partners with skills, resources, or knowledge to share

Volunteer Roles May Include:
  • Assisting at events or field trips (set-up, clean-up, logistics)

  • Leading or supporting workshops or group activities

  • Offering support behind the scenes (planning, communications, coordination)

  • Contributing professional or creative skills (e.g., photography, tech help, curriculum design)

Expectations
  • Show respect, patience, and kindness to all children and families

  • Follow all group guidelines and event safety rules

  • Communicate clearly and promptly if you cannot fulfill a commitment

  • Act in alignment with our mission and values

  • Volunteers do not assume responsibility for supervising children who are not in their care

Supervision

Beautiful Homeschoolers is not a drop-off program. Parents or designated guardians must remain on-site and are responsible for supervising their own children. Volunteers are not responsible for other families' children unless explicitly arranged.

Liability

Volunteers participate at their own risk. While certain events may be covered under group insurance, Beautiful Homeschoolers is not liable for personal injury or property damage during volunteer activities.

Recognition

We deeply value the contribution of our volunteers. While participation is unpaid, we recognize volunteer efforts through thank-you mentions, early access to select events, and opportunities to help shape future programming.
